Lost Communities of Virginia Merchandise
Note cards and matted prints feature images of communities from throughout Virginia that were once thriving but have declined, leaving a picturesque image of the past. Many of these photographs were not used in the book and are of different communities than the 30 in the book. Images on the note cards and prints show contemporary views, streetscapes, buildings, and other remnants of these once bustling places. Proceeds from the sales of Lost Communities of Virginia merchandise support continued work documenting Virginia's once-booming communities.
Sets of notecards highlight different areas of the state and different types of buildings such as general stores and gas stations. Each clear plastic box of 4”x6” note cards contains six different cards with envelopes. Download the order form.
The 5”x7” prints come with either a black or white mat with outside dimensions of 8"X11". Each print is shrink-wrapped for protection. Download the order form.
Lost Communities of Virginia merchandise can be purchased at the CDAC office at 101 South Main Street in Blacksburg or by mailing order forms and payment to the address on the form. Please note that we are unable to accept credit cards.
